1. Who we are

CCP Flooring provides flooring supply and installation services in Newport, South Wales. We operate as a mobile service, which means we bring samples to you and do not have a showroom that customers visit.

We do not have a public business address. This is because we operate entirely as a mobile service. We will add our registered details here once they are confirmed.

2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to handle your enquiry. When you complete the quote request form, we collect:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your postcode and town or city
• The flooring service you are interested in
• The approximate size of your project
• Whether you want supply and installation, or installation only
• Your preferred appointment date and time
• Any additional details you choose to tell us about the project

If you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp instead, we receive the same kind of information that way.

We do not currently collect photographs. Photo uploads are not enabled on this website. If we add them in future, we will update this policy first and will ask you not to send images of people or sensitive documents.

3. Why we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out a quote visit, prepare your quote, and keep a record of the work we have discussed. Without it we cannot provide you with a quote.

Under UK data protection law we rely on the following lawful bases:

• Legitimate interests — to respond to your enquiry, arrange the quote visit and run our business.
• Contract — where you go on to instruct us, to provide the flooring work you have asked for.
• Consent — for analytics and advertising cookies, and for any marketing messages you opt in to.
• Legal obligation — where we are required by law to keep or disclose records.

Agreeing that we may contact you about your enquiry is not the same as agreeing to receive marketing. We do not operate a marketing mailing list, and we will not send you marketing messages unless you specifically ask us to.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run this website and respond to enquiries.

Transfers outside the UK. Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the provider's own contractual safeguards, such as the International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Each provider's privacy policy, linked above, explains its approach.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, for example in response to a valid request from a public authority.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to measure how the website is used and, if you agree, to measure advertising. Analytics and advertising tags do not run at all until you have accepted the relevant category.

We never send your name, email address, phone number, address, postcode or the contents of your enquiry to Google Analytics or Meta.

6. How long we keep it

This website does not store your enquiry in a database. When you submit the form it is checked and then sent by email — one notification to CCP Flooring and one acknowledgement to you — through our email provider.

• Our email provider normally retains sent emails for up to 30 days.
• Enquiry correspondence kept in our own email inbox is held for up to 24 months after the last contact, so that we can answer questions about your quote.

If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will do so unless we are required to keep it. These retention periods are still being confirmed and will be reviewed before launch. We would rather not keep your information longer than we need it.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate
• Ask us to delete your information
• Ask us to restrict or stop using your information
• Object to us relying on legitimate interests
• Ask for your information in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 1. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

8. How we protect it

We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe:

• Enquiry details are validated on our server before use
• Form submissions are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam
• Access keys and secrets are held on the server and are never sent to your browser
• We avoid logging personal information, and we do not pass it to analytics providers
• Access to enquiry emails is limited to CCP Flooring

No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If a breach ever affects your rights, we will tell you and the ICO as required by law.

9. Changes and contact

We will update this policy if what we do changes, and will revise the version and date shown at the top of the page. This is version 1.0.
