1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the CCP Flooring website and to the quote process that follows an enquiry. They are version 1.0.
CCP Flooring supplies and installs flooring in Newport, South Wales, and selected surrounding areas. If you are unsure whether we cover your area, contact us with your postcode and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
You can reach us at contact@ccpflooring.com or 07448 812588.
2. A quote request is not a booking
Submitting the quote request form does not book an appointment, and it does not create a contract between us. It is a request for us to contact you. Nothing is agreed, and no appointment exists, until we have spoken or written to you and you have confirmed a time with us.
This website does not offer instant booking or a live availability calendar. We review every enquiry and confirm appointments individually, which means the times you tell us are preferences rather than reservations.
3. How the quote process works
- You send us your enquiry through the quote request form.
- We receive it and review the details you have given us.
- We contact you to discuss the project and agree a suitable time, subject to availability.
- We visit your property to see the space, show you samples, and understand what the work involves.
- We provide a quote. You are free to accept it or not — there is no obligation on you either way.
Quote visits are free of charge and available Monday to Sunday, 9am to 6pm, subject to availability. We will confirm the arrangements with you before attending.
A quote reflects what we can see and what you tell us at the time of the visit. If the condition of the subfloor, the room, or the scope of the work turns out to be different from what was apparent, the price may need to change. We will always discuss that with you before doing any additional work.
4. Minimum project value
Our minimum project value is £150. If your project is smaller than this, we may not be able to take it on, and we will tell you as soon as we know. We do not publish prices for individual services because the cost depends on the flooring you choose, the size of the area, and the condition and preparation of the existing floor.
5. Your responsibilities
To help us quote and work accurately, please:
- Give us accurate information about the property and the work you want done.
- Tell us about anything that could affect the job, such as an uneven or damp subfloor, underfloor heating, or existing floor coverings that may need attention.
- Provide safe access to the areas being worked on, and a reasonable supply of power and light.
- Move anything fragile or valuable before we arrive. We can usually help move furniture if you ask us in advance.
If you would rather supply your own flooring for us to fit, that is fine — we offer installation-only work as well as supply and installation. Where you supply the materials, we are responsible for the quality of our fitting, but not for the materials themselves.
6. Our work
We aim to carry out work with reasonable care and skill, as the law requires.
We have not yet published details of our guarantee, insurance cover or trade accreditations on this website, because we would rather state nothing than state something inaccurate. Once those details are confirmed, they will appear here and in your quote.
Any timescale we give for a job is an estimate made in good faith. We will keep you informed if anything changes, and we will not carry out work you have not agreed to.
7. Payment, cancellation and changes
Our payment methods, deposit arrangements, cancellation terms and the process for reporting a problem after installation have not yet been finalised on this website.
We will confirm these in writing when we provide your quote, before you commit to anything. If you would like them in advance, please ask. You will always know what you are agreeing to, and what your rights are, before any work begins. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for fraud.
Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances genuinely outside our control, such as severe weather or supply problems. If something like that happens, we will contact you and agree how to proceed.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If something goes wrong, please contact us first — we would like the chance to put it right.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the version and date shown at the top of this page. The terms that apply to your enquiry are the ones published at the time you send it.
